Open Position | Warehouse Dishwasher
As a Dishwasher at Catering by Design, you should have the following: They are organized and take pride in their work, is a team player, and readily steps in wherever help is needed. They are professional in their actions and appearance and are detailed in their work efforts. They must have excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines. This person should be able to work under minimal supervision and complete tasks in a timely manner. Responsibilities The duties & responsibilities of a Dishwasher include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Wash all dirty equipment and dishes returning from offsite events or deliveries.
- Gather and wash all kitchen equipment
- Ensure there is no damage to products
- Return all washed equipment to the correct location within the warehouse and kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness in the dish room; including cleaning out the dishwashing machines and sinks daily
- Responsible for scrubbing kitchen floor daily and cleaning all dirty/used kitchen equipment
- Remove trash from kitchen and warehouse daily
- Responsible for learning proper procedures for cleaning all types of materials and equipment (i.e pewter is not allowed in the dishwasher)
- Responsible for assisting the warehouse manager in special cleaning projects
- Other tasks as assigned by the warehouse manager
Specifications Required: Able to lift at least 50lbs
- Able to work in a hot/cold environment for extended periods of time
Must be able to stand and walk around for 8+ hours per day
Preferred:High School diploma or GED
Previous warehouse experience of 1 plus years
Pay Starting at $16.00 hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, some weekends
