Tomato Hand Pie Tart


  • 1 dough pie sheet (4″ x 4″ square)

  • 1 & 1/2 cups tomato jam

  • 1/2 cup roasted tomatoes (in oil)

  • 6 cherry heirloom tomatoes

  • 6 ciliegene mozzarella balls

  • .01 ounces micro green basil mix


  • Cut a 4″x4″ square out of a pie sheet ( 6 per pie dough sheet)
  • Mix together tomato jam and roasted tomatoes to make tomato filling
  • Spray muffin pan well with pan spray. Line with pie dough, fill with 2 tablespoons of tomato filling
  • Top with fresh mozzarella cheese
  • Bake at 350 Degrees F until golden (about 10-15 minutes)
  • Top with fresh heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil
